Abram Blau (they/he) is an actor and theater artist based in Providence, RI.

Born and raised in central Ohio, Abram discovered a love of performing when they won the lip syncing competition at their cousins bat mitzvah with a rendition of “All Star” by Smash Mouth.

Eventually this led them to NYU where they studied at the Experimental Theatre Wing and the Meisner Studio. They are currently completing their MFA in Acting from Brown University as a member of the class of 2026.

In addition to acting, Abram is a musician and composer. They have composed music for productions at Brown Univeristy, Columbia University, and NYU Tisch among others. They also work as a guitarist, touring with bands and artists around the country.

Most recently, Abram appeared as Florizel in The Winter’s Tale at the Tony Award-winning Trinity Repertory Company in Rhode Island. They are currently developing an original solo musical entitled Histamine.
